Hear now in praise of the Queen of Heaven
She who drives the storms
and crafts passion into hot limbs.

Here now the people of Uruk wait
With their open windows hoping to be blessed
Longing to be be remade by this Queen.

One such was the woman Shamat
Blessed then among all women
Blessings on Shamat and the city.
